Cantare Deo Choral Festival

Welcome to Cantare Deo

There are moments when music transcends artistry and becomes prayer — when voices joined in harmony awaken a nation’s soul.

The Cantare Deo Choral Festival, a flagship initiative of Global Polity Insights (GPI), was born to celebrate precisely that: The sacred power of choral music to inspire, unite, and heal.

Rooted in the Latin phrase “Cantare Deo” — “Sing to God” — this festival is both a celebration of faith and a ministry of service, blending artistic excellence with compassion for the needy.

In every province we visit, 10% of all proceeds are given to local charities and faith-based community projects, ensuring that the music we make together becomes a melody of hope.

🕊 A Message from the Chief Executive Officer

There are moments in a nation’s life when music rises beyond performance and becomes a prayer, when song becomes the purest language of unity, faith, and renewal. The Cantare Deo Choral Festival is born of such a moment: a sacred movement to restore the moral harmony of our communities through sound and service.

At Global Polity Insights (GPI), we hold that leadership must express love, and that policy must serve humanity. Cantare Deo thus weds sacred artistry with social responsibility, transforming worship into witness. Ten per cent of all proceeds will go directly to community charities, ensuring that every song raised to heaven yields tangible hope on earth.

From Germiston, Ekurhuleni, cradle of faith and courage, home to O. R. Tambo, Chris Hani, Bertha Gxowa, and Sam Ntuli — the festival will journey through all nine provinces, gathering choirs and believers in a shared anthem of praise and purpose. It is more than a contest. It is a covenant between heaven and humanity.

  • When choirs sing, they do more than perform; they minister, uplift, and build.

Reginald Bosman Morafo,

Chief Executive Officer | GPI & Festival Director
